EXPENSES TO CONSIDER

EXPENSES FOR SCHOOL

  • $500 School Acceptance Letter Charge (School prices are subject to change without prior notice - NON REFUNDABLE)*

  • Tuition fee - depends on the program you will be taking in Canada. Between $13K to $15K CAD per year. Initial payment is 25 to 50% of the program costs. Balance by installments but preferrable to be paid in full before submitting your application to the Canadian visa office.

GOVERNMENT FEES

  • $85 Biometric Fee (applicable for certain countries)

  • $150 Student Visa Application to be paid directly to CIC (Government prices are subject to change without prior notice - NON REFUNDABLE)*

PERSONAL EXPENSES

​

  • Show Money - Student needs to speak with their native bank who are connected overseas with Canadian national banks. They must submit the required show money in the respective bank and should mention them that they are interested to study as an international student in Canada. 

  • Once a GIC account is created, and the bank has received your money they will provide you a certificate of bank deposit in your name.

  • For the single applicant: $ 11,000 CAD

  • An additional member of the family: $4,000 CAD whether accompanying the applicant or not

  • GIC funds or show money - is used for your food, transportation, and necessary living expenses while in school to support yourself in Canada.

  • If you don't have a family, relatives, or friends in Canada with whom you can stay.  IDCI Dream residence can assist you to find accommodation. ($500 – $800 CAD) per month.

  • Your Airfare for coming to Canada can range from $800 to $1,200 CAD and up. One way depending on the season.

  • You need to have some cash on hand when you travel to Canada Approximately $300 CAD.
